"a beautiful hotel in a perfect location.It is within walking distance to most attractions. The train station is a 2 minute walk (underground access if raining). I had a Classic Double room. Quiet and very spacious. We tried the breakfast buffet one day and regret not including breakfast in our stay as it had a large assortment. The price is similar to most restaurants with less quality. Overall, this is a 5-star hotel from staff to amenities."

"This is a beautiful, serene hotel right next to the Arno river only a 10 - 15 walk from the station. The courtyard before you reach reception looks very inviting and the reception area is both luxurious and welcoming. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the courtyard and also had a view of a bell tower and the city roofs. The air conditioning was also very welcome in 35 degree heat! The room had a kettle, coffee machine and fridge (us Brits love a cup of tea in the morning!) and the bathroom was very well appointed. We took a book and a drink up to the rooftop terrace a few times and watched the sunset from there one evening. Beautiful! Breakfast was stunning! Such an array of food. I particularly enjoyed trying some if the traditional Tuscan fayre and I had a fresh omelette cooked for me on one morning. The hotel is very close to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi gallery. We walked everywhere so no need for taxis or public transport. There are some lovely restaurants nearby too. All in all this was a gem of a hotel and I would thoroughly recommend it."

"Loved this hotel!! Wish I could go back! Overlooking the Piazza Della Repubblica. Hotel rooms are well appointed. Great AC during the heatwave. Lovely and helpful staff. And the most amazing and varied breakfast in the most beautiful room while playing classic Italian music. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s one of the best I’ve ever stayed in anywhere!"

"We had a very good stay in Florence. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and overall we were very happy with our experience. There are a few areas that could use a little more attention. Some parts of the hotel looked a bit worn, with noticeable marks and damage on some of the walls, and the elevator was occasionally problematic. These were relatively minor issues, though, and didn’t significantly affect our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. A very good option for a stay in Florence, and we would happily recommend it!"
