"A great hotel to stay at. Very quirky, friendly staff and good food. Very extensive drink selections ie cocktails and beers. Room we stayed in was roomy, very clean and facilities were excellent. Hotel conveniently placed via a short walk into city. "
"English pub in a quiet, but well connetted, area in Oxford. The room is nice, well equipped and with an en-suite, new bathroom. Great English breakfast served every morning and very helpful staff."

"This hotel is really just several rooms for rent without anyone onsite. Rooms do not have air conditioning, and amenities are sparse. The location is close to the heart of town but the alley pretty noisy with crowds at night and delivery trucks morning. "
"It's a clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, literally at a stone's throw from the bus stop to reach the town centre. I dealt with the staff only via email, but they were very nice and helpful."

"Crown House is a small property run by a superbly hospitable, attentive, and very welcoming staff. Cleanliness of the property is impeccable. Its location on the Cowley Road is ideal since that thoroughfare offers a huge array of tasty, affordable dining options (great Turkish, Chinese, Persian, and North African restaurants). Even better, Cowley Road is served by a great many buses going directly in to central Oxford. This makes city access and touring extra-easy. There are also numerous shops, a large, well-stocked Tesco supermarket, and small businesses quite close to the property. Room 4 there is especially large, quite comfortable, and faces Cowley Road itself through grand windows. Light sleepers should be aware that there is a large, very popular music venue directly across the street from Crown House. The musical performances here (3 to 4 times a week) are entirely inaudible within Crown House itself, but exiting crowds of young concert-goers can be quite loud, even raucous between the hours of midnight and 1:00 a.m. on concert nights. Otherwise, Crown House is a perfect, very reasonably priced Oxford stay in a real, diverse, and vibrant neighborhood. So go already!"
"Lovely, modern boutique hotel centrally located. Opted to include breakfast and it did not disappoint. Also some nice touches in the room such as complementary still and flavoured waters in the fridge and a large chocolate bar. Only drawback was the lack of parking. Nearest car park was 15 minutes away and about £40 for 24 hours of parking. The staff were helpful as they have to bring a trolley to the nearest area available to stop the car for loading our luggage. Also, I realized later we were supposed to enjoy the benefits of a VIP upgrade but we never received anything (and I booked two rooms) but I happen to overhear the couple in front of me who were given a free upgrade to a suite - so not sure what happened. Nonetheless it was a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. "
"The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs. "
"We stayed at The Randolph for three nights in September 2005. We had breakfast there three times and dinner once. The dinner was excellent and the service was superb and a tribute to the superb staff my wife and I cannot praise the food and service enough. The breakfasts were equally superb with a wide selection of breakfast food at the buffet. The room was excellent in every way and the position of the hotel for visiting the city centre and Colleges was spot on.
