"What a great hotel, I booked this as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint. It’s such a unique hotel in a great setting, the way the hotel has kept the features of the prison whilst making it a luxury hotel is brilliant. We stayed in the main prison part of the hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had dinner at the restaurant as well and the food was lovely. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Great location for shopping and to explore beautiful Oxford. "

"The staff was helpful, and responded rapidly to requests. There was no lift, but staff helped carry luggage up the stairs. The AC was not truly adjustable, but the windows opened; the room was hot when we arrived. There was a tub/shower combo, and the tub was very welcome. The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. The immediate are was a bit run-down, but a close-by pub had good food."

"Lovely location with super helpful and friendly front desk and restaurant staff! The breakfast was deluxe! The room was nice, but next time we will request an upper floor-we were on the ground floor next to the outdoor dining area and therefore could not open the windows for air and keep our privacy as our windows opened to the tables in the dining area or the street and people could literally look over straight into our room. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would stay there again. "

"Beautiful apartment, good sized kitchen/sitting room area, contemporary appliances and fittings. Bathrooms were really big as compared to what we have found in other places in London and Oxford. The whole apartment felt spacious. The balcony has a decent view and was large enough that 2-3 chairs could have been easily been put there. Centrally located -- 5-10 minutes walk to most places in Oxford. We enjoyed our stay very much. Just a couple of suggestions to make the place even better: (1)...
