"Staff were brilliant and polite , the location was perfect for access to the main sites to see . There is a cracking little walk from the hotel to the river which gives you a nice evening walk to the folly bridge to then walk into the main area Only issue I have is the ev car charges need to be upgraded as they were extremely slower than usual , charged for 20 hours and only got 15% in it .. but did see this also on other reviews . The room was very quiet and clean . Definately recommend it , the breakfast was very good also with a big selection ."

"Wonderful stay at this grand old hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Gave me some tooth care kits when I realised I'd forgotten my toothpaste. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable with everything I could possibly need. Only slight issue was the tv functionality wasn't great, a few channels didn't work and casting wasn't working at all, but nothing major. If you are here to see the sights of oxford it's perfectly positioned for walking, public transport, shops, even a cinema. Lots of restaurants very close and the Ashmoleum is directly opposite. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thank you"

"The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots of wonderful languages spoken in this area and friendly people. It's about a 15 minute walk to the tourist info as t city center where we picked up the hop on, hop off tourist bus (good idea). We'd stay there again"

"Beautiful property with lovely garden. Property has 5 levels so perfect for young family. Three fans provided to circulate air. Great mattresses and bath is wonderful. Location is great with easy walk to restaurants, market and Magdalen College."

"Stayed in room 3 for 2 nights, the room was clean and modern, but the tv didn’t have a remote control available and when a replacement was provided the tv still wouldn’t work. Thats why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5."

"We enjoyed our stay in Oxford. The property was a little out of the way (from City Centre) and it took us a day to figure out the bus system, but once we had navigated it a few times, it was fine. The suite was nicely appointed with everything we needed. Many thanks to our host, who popped in on Day 3 to see how we were doing (and showed us how to open the garden door). "Excellent stay for us at Oxford . Will happily stay over again. The only thing that was not up to par was the backyard. With such beautiful space at one’s disposal, especially in the middle of a big city, if I were the host, I would have tidied it up a bit more. Same for the rear deck off the living room."
