"Wonderful hotel, adjacent to train station and yet peaceful/zen. If it’s your first time to Kyoto and you have a lot of exploring to do, this is such a great location. I was a little concerned about not being able to walk out of the hotel to grab excellent food, but that couldn’t be farther from the case. "This was by far my favorite hotel during our 2+ week honeymoon. Very eco-friendly with nice amenities and lovely staff, this hotel had a nice calming vibe, decent sized room, and was a great location. It made our next hotel stay almost upsetting. The toilet was separate from the shower, which was nice, and we loved the pajamas. I can't stop raving about the pillow, which I think had buckwheat in it. While we would have liked a better view, everything else was just superb. Cannot wait to go back...
