"I had the most wonderful stay in Kyoto at this charming hotel. It has the traditional Japanese feel, but doesn’t feel dated; they did a beautiful job with the interiors. Also I needed to send a bag to a residential address in Tokyo and since their partner only delivers to hotels, Julie went above and beyond to help me figure out the best way to do it on my own and she even filled the form in Japanese for me. I will most definitely be staying here again whenever I’m back in Kyoto."

Self check in and out, onsite coin operated laundry, perfect location, large room with a kitchen, and friendly staff, though you will most likely not see them as everything runs so smoothly. The location and price cannot be beat. I will definite stay here again when I find myself in Gion Kyoto."
