Larkspur in Pacific Grove

"So it was awesome to have a working fireplace on a cold summer (!) night but the open flue transmitted the sound of Screeching seagulls on the roof from Sunrise on. Not a big deal- pretty funny in fact but I’m am early riser.. Was great watching an otter in the bay from My breakfast table!"

"The hotel is centrally located, steps away from fisherman's wharf. Your can walk to the cannery row, aquarium or take the free trolley. Trolley stop is steps away from hotel, and it goes by every 10-15 minutes with various stops on their route. Make sure to stop by Carmel Bakery in the hotel and get their giant pretzel before they sell out. "

"Beautiful stay in a beautiful location. The area was quiet and felt very safe. The interior was a bit old and had its share of scuffs but nothing that made our stay feel inconvenient. We loved this place and would definitely come again."

"Perfect little cabin get away with tons of wild life and a beautiful beach! It’s more retreat style, as there’s no a/c and no tv’s in the room, but with so much going on in and around the property, you don’t miss the TV at all. I can’t speak to whether or not the a/c is necessary, as it was 50° outside during our stay, so we used the heat! I think it stays pretty cool year round in NorCal, But if that’s a necessity for you, just take this into account. Also note, cleaning lady and mini fridge are only available upon request. I learned that this retreat was designed by the first female architect and you can tell with how su soaked the rooms are!! "
