"This is a new place… in the property where Blackberry Inn was located. It is 2 minutes from town and this location can’t be beat. The grounds are great, and once this place is finished, I would say it would be the best place to stay. We are ‘old’ groupies from the heritage house days, but it has changed and not for the better. Mendo Bungalows will be the ‘ place to be’. "

"Outside appearance not great but our little room was clean and comfortable. Queen bed, bathtub to soak after skiing, microwave and fridge all included. Had to do the check in at a different hotel but it was only 2 hotels over. Ate at an excellent pizza place right across the street. Good food and service."

"Our stay was subpar. When we arrived we were not told we could not park in the driveway until arriving. The neighborhood is crowded so it took over 30 minutes to find a parking spot on the street because we had a truck. After that when we went inside we could not find one of the bedrooms because it was completely separate in the backyard but it was not listed in the description. Next we found condoms in cups in the bookshelf as well as dead bugs. In the morning one of the beds had bugs crawling...

"Loved this hidden gem! Clean, large and had everything we needed. Friendly staff and free garage parking. We could see the water from our balcony (when it wasn’t foggy). Only downside is it’s quite noisy, but this is not the property’s fault at all. Will definitely stay again."

"We can’t say enough good things about this cozy little place. We had the cabin next to the adorable little library. The room was clean and warm when we arrived. Joseph was the person who lives on property and he was wonderful! He helped us get checked in the first night and gave us some pointers for our trip the next day to Sequoia NP. We loved how quiet the property was and enjoyed our morning coffee out walking the resort. We would highly recommend this little cabin nestled in the woods! "

"This bungalow is adorable and comfortable! The bed is really cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our bigger dogs. Great location, close to beaches and fun and Pamala was helpful and super fun to chat with. We will definitely be back!"

"If you are looking for one of the best views on the Mendocino coast, while seated on your own deck, surrounded by 3 acres of peace and quiet, look no further. The cottage is exactly as advertised. Simple, clean, nothing fancy but very comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (2 burner cooktop - no stove/oven, toaster oven, microwave) and nice touches such as three different kinds of coffee makers & coffee beans/grinder. You can cook basic meals and don't forget, fabulous restaurants/cafes are...
