Met all of my needs as a solo traveller, but absolutely see where it would be fun and perfect for the entire family/group. Thank you so much for such a safe, happy, and enjoyable stay! "Our stay at Novotel had its positives, but overall the property is in need of some serious maintenance. The rooms felt quite tired, with noticeable wear and tear throughout. In our room, the windows had black condensation stains, and both the furniture and bathroom looked dated and worn. The facilities, including the pool, also didn’t feel well maintained and could definitely use some attention. On the plus side, the location is excellent, and we really appreciated the kids’ room—it was a great touch for families. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very attentive and friendly, which made a difference to our experience."

"We had a suite with jacuzzi bath which was a great addition to the bathroom. Parts of the suite looked a bit run-down, for example the mirror with lots of marks/dents/rust on, but this didn’t hugely affect our overall impression. One of the staff members we interacted with was lovely, helpful an enthusiastic. This is a definitely a nice place to stay in Rotarua and convenient for local attractions if you have a car "

"The unit were clean, in good condition, and the beds were comfortable. Instant coffee, teabags, sweeteners, and milk were available in the room along with an electric kettle. Check in and out was simple and quick. We would stay here again."

"Satyam checked us in and he was very helpful. We had 3 rooms booked. He was ready with our keys and even recognised us by our name when we walked in. That felt so personalised. One of our rooms was on 2nd floor and he helped us with our luggage when he was just passing by and saw my girls bringing their bags up. Room was very clean Had Nespresso coffee maker. There was a microwave and a refrigerator and a stove with kitchen appliances and cookware. They have a swimming pool as well. No elevators because it’s a vintage property. Well kept Has a ballroom We didn’t try breakfast buffet as it had minimal veggie options. But we had food ordered for evening and it was very tasty."
