"Cute, cozy, a great location and impeccably clean - all the most important things! Side FYIs: if you are like me and wind down watching something on a TV, there are not any in the bedrooms. The 3,000 deposit (which seemed a bit stiff to me) was delayed in being refunded, but I believe the host has figured out how to avoid that hiccup next time."

"It was a rainy day so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool but the fact that it was heated made us want to jump in regardless! The beach was right outside and a nice bar and seating area was right there! Loved it!"

"Did not realize number of steps one has to take to third floor. No mentioned when we booked. 4 flights of stairs inside - 31 steps plus outside stairs. - not exact count but more than 15 steps. At age 79, this was a challenge bringing in luggage. My bad for not asking before I booked. Suggest addressing this issue before booking. Otherwise, a very nice place."

"The property comfortably accomodated eight family members. It was comfortable, clean and convenient (walkable) to both town and the beach. The host was responsive and in communication. A few amenities for ktichen and bathroom would be helpful; but this worked really well for a large group and would stay again."

"This home was as glorious as the pictures if not better. We had 8 people with lots of rooms to sleep in and plenty of bathrooms. It’s pristine! Everything is there that you need, including three coffee makers. The living room/dining area is massive and just a wonderful place to gather around the fireplace. The pool (although chilly in early April) was so much fun. A good idea is to bring your own beach towels. But other than clothes and toiletries, it’s all you need. The host was so attentive and when I emailed with an issue (that was my fault) he was right back with a message to help us out. Folly Beach is a favorite of ours, because it’s near Charleston and has some of the cutest restaurants and sweet little shops. The beach is great, and the people are kind. But most of all we loved the house. As massive as it is, it hugs you. You feel at home the minute you step through the doors. The studio was great for one of our 19-year-olds, as it gave him his own space. The game room (that is not listed in the vrbo) is amazing, and the 4 teens spent most of their time there. There were card games and pool table challenges, from adults to kids. But most of all, there were memories. We want to send a special thanks to the host for his communication during our stay! So very necessary and appreciated. Thank you!!"

"Excellent location, clean, short walk to the beach. Has everything a 2-4 person trip needs for a comfortable beach trip to Folly. Recommend."
