We had a wonderful stay here… such a lovely spot. The outdoor areas are numerous and great for families with beautiful views. Very pet friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated but are beginning to need a fresh coat of paint. Would highly recommend to others. Enjoy!

We greatly enjoyed our week stay at Harborside. We especially enjoyed the view of the harbor, the boardwalk and the several large container ships that pass by every day. We toured the USS Yorktown carrier and Fort Sumter. Both tours originate within a five minute walk of the hotel. We are definitely planning on returning.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a problem with the HVAC in our room and they immediately upgraded us and moved us into a new room. The resort is beautiful and its a great location from which to explore Charleston.

Love this resort but it's definitely showing it's age. One strange downside is that the bathrooms don't have fans in them. Not sure how or why this is the case in such a humid place. The best features are definitely location, the pool and private beach area with fire pits for nights at the Reel bar and live music. Beds are very comfortable too and complimentary coffee in the lobby is a bonus!

We had an ocean front room floor 2 last year I had floor 3 and the view was much nicer. But it was still very nice. Watched dolphins every morning. Was sad the coffee machine was broke the whole weeks stay. The staff is very friendly and everything was very clean. Daily Room service did a fabulous job. It’s become one of our favorite places. We love walking the marina every morning.

Clean rooms were a huge plus the stay. The balcony view was great for sunsets. The front desk staff were nice, welcoming and answered all my questions hastily. The free shuttle to downtown is a lifesaver for parking fees and time you spemd hunting a space. Great place tp stay.
