I spent 2 weeks in Berlin visiting friends and taking in the sights and museums, and this was the perfect place to rest, and to share some quiet time with my friends on rainy days. It's a little far (for this American) to walk from the nearest train station, but there is a bus stop just across the street that will take you there if you're willing to wait for it. "Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child. The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced. "
