"My only complaint is that with being eco friendly there wasn't a way to make the room cold enough to be comfortable sleeping. I was sweating throughout all 3 nights of my stay. "The hotel was fine, staff very friendly, location very good - only 10 minutes walk to Potsdammer Platz. Only two issues 1) room was small - 3 of us meant no seats as only settee was used as 2nd bed, and 2) on Friday night it was very noisy outside (we were at the back of the hotel but there were groups of people laughing and drinking till 1am, so loud we had to use earplugs even with windows closed and that made the room very warm)"

"Easily the best value of any stay I’ve had in Europe. Was quoted an extremely generous rate and was cringing after learning it was right by a major tourist hub (Checkpoint Charlie) but between the charming hostess who welcomed me; the spacious and immaculate room (with excellent TV selection) and convenient location, this (and probably Select hotels generally) is a keeper. If I had any quibble, it would be the lack of wake up calls on offer…the first two nights I literally slept through my phone’s alarm, the bed was so comfortable."
