"Hotel’s onsen as shown in the website pictures are for members only. Only basic dormitory style rooms were offered with public bath which had water pressure problem that 2 cannot wash at the same time. The bath uses regular, non-hot spring water which only open from 800-2000. No hot water in the dormitory bathrooms. Hotel is well equipped with gym and game room however for members only. Wish more clarification on the booking sites for this. "

"I don’t believe this accommodation justify the cost if you will stay at this property without dinner and breakfast. I was able to reduce the expense for a night to c. $55 by using Expedia credits equal to $30, but if I didn’t have it, I would recommend to stay another one. Far from the center of Matsumoto Nothing was around the property Nothing would be provided to kids, such as amenities, welcoming tea and snacks, basically. The only nicer point was hot spring with good scene"

"The hotel was a nice, reasonable 3 stars hotel. Decent amenities, good location (10 min walk from station, 10 min walk from castle). Bathroom was quite small and basic, room was OK. Staff wasn't overly friendly, although the service was good. When I moved the bed to combine the two twins, there was a lot of accumulated dust. Overall good price performance for spending one night in Matsumoto."

"Clean room, shoes off policy where lockers at front desk store items, breakfast at a cost of 2500yen per person was amazing and worth a try at least once however it is quite early in the morning. Free vegetarian ramen noodles from 9:30pm to 11pm was a bonus along with the icecream after public baths. Laundry washing is free and dryer service is 100 yen per 30 minutes. Close to station and walking distance to Matsumoto Castle."

"There were some maintenance issues with the hotel. The lights on the elevator button on the 9th floor did not illuminate, my room lights were also a little trouble. There were a couple of bugs in my room as well. The check in staff was not as accommodating as I would have liked. However, the hot spring was great. The hotel bus driver and restaurant staff were very friendly."
