The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "I stayed at this hotel for the Norikura HC event. The hotel prepared a very early breakfast for the visitors. It was very nice. But there was one thing that was disappointing. It was parking problem. When I checked-in, it was already full, so staff let me know 2nd/3rd parkings. But map was so complicated, that's why I tired to look for them. If the problem is releafed, I'd like to stay (at 2025 Norikura HC?) again."

"This hotel was excellent value for money. Our room was VERY spacious relative to other places we stayed in Tokyo/Osaka etc., and the amenities were high quality. We could see mountains out of one window and Matsumoto Castle out of the other, and it was a very easy walk to the Castle and many restaurants. It was a slightly longer walk to the train station and Matsumoto Art Museum, but it would be just as easy to get a taxi (or I assume a bus!). Really lovely place with staff that were extremely lovely and helpful - e.g. we were so grateful that they filled in our luggage forwarding cards for us!"
