"Beautiful property. One problem was no made service until 4th day. They got the garbage and gave us coffee on day 3 when I complained."

"I really like that the host answered when ask questions but did not message without need. Also the kitchen was great liked the fact they left spices and things from other guest that had stayed."

"If you like Sailor Jerry, Donovan's Reef, and vintage tiki aesthetic, you'll enjoy Wild Ginger. Yes it really takes 20 minutes for hot water and there's no a/c, but the rates are reasonable, rooms are clean and breezy, staff are nice, and parking and continental breakfast free. The hotel was built in 1911 (16 years before the Royal Hawaiian) and the new owners are working hard to keep it nice. Enjoy the ceiling fans, coqui frogs, and 5 minute walk to downtown because you won't find another place like it in Hawaii."

"Loved it !!! Great location. Beautiful, spacious and clean !!! Fantastic views and the sound of crashing waves was amazing. The pool was the grandkids' favorite thing to do in Hawaii. The kitchen was huge and the check-in was very easy. We hope to come back someday. And the mystery is solved. I thought the house looked familiar. After I got home, I found a picture of the same house with the pool. We had stayed there in 2009 !!! "

"Staff were courteous and professional, and knowledgeable about the area as well. The back garden was a great place to retreat at the end of a busy day, and the cat, Boots, was absolutely adorable!"

"My parents and I rented the cottage for four nights. This was absolutely perfect for our needs and we slept really well. We were able to park our rental car with no problem and the area is loaded with things to see, and do. Restaurants nearby, as well as shopping in town. Many of our stops were 3 to 7 minutes away from the property. This is a much better location than staying up by Volcano. Under 10 minutes to the airport but noise wasn't an issue. Staff was super friendly and flexible to meet our needs. Definitely would recommend to those in a small group that don't want to be separated by rooms in a hotel. "
