The overall condition of the hotel was not as advertised. We had to drag our large briefcases 4 levels upstairs (no elevator). The bathroom door didn’t have any locking mechanism. The ceilings were cracked. No TV.

Sorry, our ceiling is not cracked, but because we moved the position of the air conditioner to another place, that part is exposed.

Best hotel for Hanoi airport transfer
Overall clean and convenient for an airport stay. Owner was extremely accommodating. Room was recently refurbished and very clean as well as quiet. For our room, private bathroom was down the hall (but others were em suite). Best value for the price and would stay again without hesitation. The few negatives: no elevator (we were on 5th floor but owner carried our bags), community center started playing music for exercise at 6:30 am. For $15, it's the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Owner provides airport taxi service for very small additional fee.

The owner was so helpful and friendly they treated us like family we stayed one night only cause we arrived late and had an early flight out to hue but I’ll definitely stay here again.

This place was literally a bed before my flight. WIFI iffy at best, so not good if you have work to do. The menu at this place won’t work for vegetarians, but a couple other places around the block. Also, roosters decided I needed to wake up at 5:00 AM when really, I could have used a little more sleep.

The staff were very accommodating. Picked me up from the airport for a nominal fee in the wee hours of the night. Room had its on private bathroom/ shower. When leaving staff arranged a ride to old town Hanoi. Would recommend this hostel to any solo or couple traveller.

Hotel near Hanoi airport. Very happy to arrive at 12am to a warm welcome and a large, clean room. I was able to arrange a car to the airport in the morning very easily. Very good location for getting to/from the airport in terms of distance but be careful to arrange an airport shuttle with the hotel in advance as I didn’t and spent over an hour at the airport trying to find a car as all the taxis refused to take me such a short distance (including grab cars who kept cancelling my booking) or were asking for excessive fares (350k for less than 2 miles).

Great budget hotel. Owner picked us up from the airport for 60,000 VND ( about $2.70 US). Quick 5 minute ride to airport. The following day we walked to the airport to exchange money, was about 15 min walk. Shower is like many budget hotels in Asia, being next to the toilet and no set tub/shower. Bed was comfortable. Couple who runs the place very nice but no English. Use google translate. Only issue was the Pepsi in the mini fridge was 30,000 VND ($1.20 +/-) and we thought it was free. I don’t even like Pepsi but figured if they give it might as well drink it. When we were at the lobby waiting for ride to airport she saw it in my hand and asked if I took it from the minifridge. Besides that was a great stay.

Convenient and good value for money
Excellent place to stay just 5 minutes from airport by taxi. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Good hot shower. Hairdryer and free amenities. Friendly staff. If you're planning to stay close to the airport this is a wonderful place. Early in the morning the host took us to the airport for 60.000 dong (in his own car).

Well maintained property
Sao Mai is less of a hostel and more of a hotel. Really value for money and great amenities. We checked in at 2 AM the first time we stayed here and the second time we stayed here we checked in at 10 PM. Very odd times to check in but the hotel management was really good. It is a family run hotel and the people are really nice and warm. They do provide airport pickup and drop at rates at par with Grab. But their service was better than Grab. Also, the hotel is marked at the start of the road on Google Maps, but it is about a 100 metres up ahead in the lane. Definitely staying again here when I visit Hanoi.

ホテル自体はとても清潔で素泊まりする分には全く問題なく快適に過ごすことができます。ベッドもキングサイズでお部屋も広々。 しかし問題はホテルの場所です。大通りからはかなり中に入っていて全く場所が分からずgrabのタクシー運転手に似た名前のホテルの前で降ろされ、暗闇の中彷徨う事に。 ホテルのスタッフにgrabよりかなり高いけど空港まで迎えにきてもらう方が無難かもしれません。

Останавливались на ночь перед утренним вылетом. Номер приятный и чистый, постельное белье новое. Самолетов не слышно. Завтрак можно заказать за отдельную плату. Мы заказывали с вечера. Так же за отдельную плату хозяин может отвезти вас в аэропорт. У нас был 5 этаж, лифта нет, но нам было это не важно. В целом, все понравилось.

空港から近すぎてどのタクシーも行ってくれない、しかし歩くと空港周辺ホテルの中では最も遠く、30分ぐら
こんな安いホテルにそもそも完璧さなど求める訳がない。 その意味からするとノイバイ空港に夜23 時ぐらいに着いて、翌朝空港に7時には行っていなければならない数時間の滞在の為、空港近くのホテルに泊まるという意味では、このホテルは清潔だしエアコンもあるのでとりあえずの用は足すことが出来る。 ただし部屋内に金庫はなく、歯ブラシはあるが歯磨き粉は使い回しのファミリータイプの大きいものしかない。 ミネラルウォーターはチェックインの時に2本くれた。 問題なのが空港から近いのでタクシーが行ってくれないこと。メーター通りに行けば多分2万か3万ドンぐらいだと思うが、タクシー運転手達から返ってくる返事はどれも30万か40万ドンとハノイ市内への料金と同等の額ばかり。 ふざけるなと、仕方なく歩いてみたが、このホテルはノイバイ周辺のホテルの中では最も遠い場所に位置し、おまけに道を一つ入ったところにあるので非常に分かりにくい。 ちなみにノイバイから歩いて一番近いのはドラゴンエアポートホテルとかいうところで、場所的にそっちに泊まれば良かったと思った。 翌朝、空港までは車で送ってくれたが、料金は7万ドン以上交渉出来ず、これも外国人価格なんだろうなと思いつつ、歩いて行く元気がなかったので仕方なく。

ハノイ→羽田の8時10分の便で日本に帰国するため、空港にほど近いこの場所に宿泊しました。 もともと旧市街にステイしており、フライト当時の移動だと渋滞や予想外のトラブルに巻き込まれることが容易に想像できたため、このホテルでの滞在を選びました。 ご家族で経営されているようで、22時のチェックイン、翌朝6時の出発に関わらず快くご対応いただきました。 朝は、出国時間に合わせて70,000ドンで空港に送迎いただくことができるのも利点だと思います。 シンプルな設備ですが、フライト前日の睡眠時間の確保と、長いフライトに向けてのシャワーはとても貴重だと思います。

만원돈에 이정도면.. 혜자죠^^ 여성분은 가기전에 전화 한통 하고 픽업 요청하세요(5usd) 전화하면 카톡 아이디 알려주실거에요. 아침에도 택시 안잡히니 직접 데려다주시기도 했어요 (시내까지 25만 vnd) 비행기 시간때문에 잠깐 머물기에 너무 좋아요. 저는 방 잡을때 기준이 청결도인데, 만원돈에 이정도면 불만 없어요. 여러모로 편했습니다. Kind staff, good location, nice price thanks for pick up service (5usd)
