Although theres no restaurant in the hotel, you can order some frozen stuffs that u can heat in the kitchen which i initially was not excited about. But actually this is rhe first time i enjoyed a frozen pizza which i heated in the mini toaster. It was soo good. From the menu i think the pizza was made in collaboration with a japanese chef

Beautiful accommodation, with a private bath in our room, made for a very relaxing stay in Hakone. The private onsens were very good and the lounge wear provided for guests was a nice touch.

We had a fantastic stay at Yamagaso. We were able to drop our bags off at the main hotel so we could go sightseeing before check-in. Dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal served in our room. It was great having our own private bath in our villa with hot spring water. Our host Momo-san was sweet and very helpful. If we ever return to Hakone we would love to stay here again.

Staff were very lovely, room was spacious and beautiful. We accidentally put a hole in the shoji door and refused compensation. Absolutely lovely people.

Traditional style Natural hot springs with private and public baths. Extra friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner was the highlight. Slept with the sound of the river flow.

Family of five. We stayed for 2 nights. We had a lovely large room. The beds were super comfy. Was a nice short walk to the station and restaurants. We had a lovely stay at Roykan Plum. Was a great at base to explore halcone loop wirhout paying the expensive prices around Halcone.

I had originally worried that two nights here might be a little dull after spending 5 days buzzing around Tokyo but it turned out this place was exactly what we needed. We had a western/Japanese family room with a private onsen on the balcony that had a nice view of the hills behind the hotel. It was so peaceful and quiet. Before we arrived we had little idea of what to expect beyond tatami mats and a multi course dinner of traditional dishes. It is fair to say that some of the décor is due to...

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is walking distance to the Hakone-Yumoto station if you don't want to catch the shuttle. Our traditional room was very spacious & the buffet breakfast had a lot of variety.

We were visiting from Australia. The accommodation in the Onsen were first class. Not much else to do in the hotel as there is no socialising area,no bars etc. If you’re after a supper relaxing couple of days this is a place for you.
