"Yeah was a good stay staff was friendly and helpful, parking around the area is fairly priced/free over the weekends and location to town was perfect as only a £8 taxi into Bristol. Rooms were clean and well laid out, would have prefers to have a tv and hairdryer in the room but you’d have to bring ur own haha. Would rate is 7/10 overall nice place to stay."

"I chose The Royal as there was a positive review about being good for solo travellers. This was my experience too. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful . It was easy to find and has easy access to the sea front. The hotel's location meant that I felt safe to walk alone in the evening , as I wanted to try local restaurants. Parking was especially good and there was an extended period also allowed once I had checked out . For the time I spent at The Royal, I chose to walk everywhere, as there was no need to use the car . I would definitely visit again."
