Good place to stay for exploring other attractions around the area, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Bath, etc. I would highly recommend especially for a couple. "Fabulous stay, The restaurant team were phenomenal ensuring that we ate well despite desite allergies that could result in anaphylaxis. Highly recommend.. We only dropped off and picked up at the hotel which is fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Rooms were clean Staff were really friendly and helpful we asked to move room as there was a bar across the road that was noisy Staff allocated us another room with no problems. Parking is a bonus as as long as you book your car in at reception it is free. All in all it was a pleasant stay. Will definitely go back"

"The hotel is perfectly positioned as a base for the caves and mill. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful. Catering is a little quirky as the restaurant can't accommodate large numbers wanting to eat at the same time. We had an issue with a booking for dinner which they then could not honour, so we had to call in a pizza when already late, and then our pre-booked breakfast could not be accommodated without negotiation upon which we were given half an hour for a family of 4. It was fine and worked, but perhaps a few protocols around bookings from 3rd parties need tightening. The kids loved the pancake machine at breakfast and it was a fun, family orientated setup."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."
