"Outstanding!! Great location. Immaculate. Bed was so comfortable. Peaceful. Amazing staff. Met all of my needs as a solo traveller, but absolutely see where it would be fun and perfect for the entire family/group. Thank you so much for such a safe, happy, and enjoyable stay! "Our stay at Novotel had its positives, but overall the property is in need of some serious maintenance. The rooms felt quite tired, with noticeable wear and tear throughout. In our room, the windows had black condensation stains, and both the furniture and bathroom looked dated and worn. The facilities, including the pool, also didn’t feel well maintained and could definitely use some attention. On the plus side, the location is excellent, and we really appreciated the kids’ room—it was a great touch for families. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very attentive and friendly, which made a difference to our experience."

"We had a suite with jacuzzi bath which was a great addition to the bathroom. Parts of the suite looked a bit run-down, for example the mirror with lots of marks/dents/rust on, but this didn’t hugely affect our overall impression. One of the staff members we interacted with was lovely, helpful an enthusiastic. This is a definitely a nice place to stay in Rotarua and convenient for local attractions if you have a car "
