Very impressed with cleanliness and loved the decor. I would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping, but I would recommend that for any hotel in the city. It's close to the wharf, Starbucks and cable car 1 block away. I was happy with the choice. I think the Buffet was too pricey personally, $21.95 per person but I was on a fun trip so did it anyway, I would definitely stay there again for the price I got online. Reminder also, the parking is extra for guests so inquire about the cost!

Loved the location of the suites!!! There is an amazing rooftop patio for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding area with a great view of Alcatraz. The room overall is a great size and was very clean although a little dated for sure. Couple frustrations, arrived at the hotel and all the parking was gone so I had to park a block away for $40 extra for the night. There is one small line on the booking page that says limited spaces. I overlooked this as there are 14 spaces for 21 rooms so kind of my fault but annoying. The desk person was very helpful the next day and let me know when a space was free so that was appreciated. The room has no air con so we would come in after a long walk in the gorgeous sun into a very warm uncomfortable room. There were ceiling fans that did help but the room stayed very warm and if we opened the patio door the street traffic was quite loud. This day and age the most annoying thing was there was no wifi at all. It existed, but never worked even once and we were on the first floor. Had to go to the Starbucks to check emails. Overall we really did enjoy the suites very much and would stay again and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Heritage. It was my mother's 45th Birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable stay. Christina with conceirge in particular planned a whole day tour of Napa with me only giving her a few ideas. The room had an amazing view of the bay, we really couldn't of asked for more. Thank you to the Fairmont staff for making us feel welcomed!
We arrived early for our reservation, but because the room was available we were allowed to check in early. We certainly appreciated that feature. The room and bathroom were very clean. Room temperature was adjustable and comfortable. The location was great: one block from public transportation.
The hotel was good. Central location, easy access to everything we wanted to do.
However, the hotel accidentally charged us for the stay (which we had already paid for through Expedia). They fixed it promptly, but by using Expedia, I found out it cost us nearly $100 dollars extra.
My second time using Expedia and my last.
Called ahead to inform front desk that we were checking in very late (3am). The system was down upon arrival so waited for about 30 min. Once the system was up, front desk couldn't find my name or confirmation number. So another 10 min wasted. Thou they were very apologetic and pleasant, the computer system needs some kind of upgrading.
