My family of 4 only booked one night at this hotel and it was everything I expected a high rated hotel to be. It was just two short blocks to Fisherman's Wharf, which was nice. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. It had all the "little" amenities you would expect. The only thing that wasn't pleasant was the night time noise from outside. I have to sleep with windows open for true comfort and it was quite noisy outside; drunk people, a car drag racing down the street, and at one point somewhere, some woman was wailing. Day time seems nicer with families about, but once the sun goes down, it becomes filled with "seedy" people.

The hills of San Francisco are alive with activities to suit every tates and Pier 2620 Hotel at Fishermans Wharf is …More
This residence is located right above Ghirardelli Square. Alcatraz is right across the bay and the views from the balcony were fantastic! Everything you could need or want is provided...including a washer and dryer in one of the closets. Every evening music would drift up from the Square...very good artists and lovely sounds. A fireplace adds a nice touch, and there are two TV's with DirecTV. The valet service will take good care of your car, and this is great because parking in SF is at a premium. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. One could not ask for anything more.
Sea lions bask in the sun by Pier 39's shops at Fisherman's Wharf. Nearby, Ghirardelli Square's chocolate factory gives a taste of the sweet life. At Pier 33, boats depart for Alcatraz. The city and Golden Gate Bridge gleam atop Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill. Literature thrives at the famed City Lights book store in North Beach. Washington Square Park is the heart of this historic Italian enclave.
