"We LOVE the Westin St Francis and visit as often as we can. Luis Bosse at the front desk is someone who greets us many of our visits and is always so friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile (favorite room, early check in, etc). The hotel is historic, beautiful, well maintained and close to everything. The staff from housekeeping to the various restaurant staff, all top notch. We travel often and never find better service and making us feel welcome like the St Francis. When visiting SF, stay here. You'll be glad you did. "

"The property is absolutely amazing!! The hotel is in a perfect location that is walking distance to multiple bus stops and to the Union Square. Many tour options pcik up from nearby as well. The staff are the most friendly staff i have ever encountered! Not only will they greet you at the door, but also to and from their way to work if they see you. All staff gave great reccommendations of places to visit and eat. The hotel is located near the tenderlion district - which is known for homelessness and can be quite noisy at night. Earplugs were provided for all occupants of the room though! Although Expedia states there is a breakfast - it is not a full nor a hot breakfast. Coffee, water, tea are constantly available through the day. A microwave is located at the bar/front desk as well. We had no issues making instant oatmeal with the complimentary breakfast bar though it can be inconvenient for others. Muffins, yogurt cups and fruit are served for breakfast. Overall i would absolutely recommend staying at the Bijou to anyone! "
