"Be aware—you might think you’re getting a good deal, but it’s not worth it. The hotel itself is very dated, and the rooms feel like they’re made of tissue paper. There’s essentially zero soundproofing—you’ll hear everything, all the time. It honestly feels like trying to sleep on the street. If you’re on the right side of the building, expect construction noise from 7 AM to 4 PM, so forget about sleeping in, napping, or even opening the windows. At night, it doesn’t get any better. There are homeless/drug users in the alley below who show up like clockwork, and the noise continues. On top of that, cars rev by constantly, with horns going off throughout the night. Unless you’re someone who can sleep through anything, this will be a problem, you’ve been warned… Also, there’s no AC in the rooms, so if you’re visiting during the summer, it’s extremely uncomfortable. Was there for 5 nights should have checked out after the first and went somewhere out of the city… The staff were very friendly and polite."

"Hotel Nikko is a very clean, well-maintained and well-managed hotel. I stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the heated pool and enjoyed in-room dining breakfast. The staff is very nice and accommodating. "

"The hotel is clearly outdated and does not meet the standards expected at this price point. The front desk staff was unwelcoming, which set a poor tone for the stay from the start. Overall, the experience fell short, and I would strongly recommend considering other options in the area that offer better value and service."

"Pets stay for free, however no proper relief area in or around the hotel. 3 minute walk to nearby park for dog restroom. Rooms are very small, but clean. Staff was very nice. Breakfast is just simple such as donuts, croissants, muffins; nothing exceptional. "
