"I have no idea why the bad reviews. For the price and close proximity to the airport , you can’t expect any better. If you want better , dig your pockets and pay £200 / night. It’s clean, plenty parking, free toiletries ( enough for few nights), smart tv , kettle in the room.. what else you need for less than £80 a night …I will defo come again. And yes, we stayed one night and they didn’t even charge for parking .. absolutely 5 star .. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price."

"This was the perfect location for us to stay to be able to visit Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Chester, just 10mins drive from each. I avoided hotels in Chester due to lack of easy parking options but this one was great. Really nice rooms, clean and modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and continental choices. We loved the warm cookie at check in too - a nice touch! Staff were all very nice and friendly."

"We stayed here for two nights at the end of a week long Northern trip, so having spent several days travelling from one location to another, it was a very nice place to come to relax . We enjoyed using the spa facilities. There’s a good gym with a range of modern equipment. The pool is good and sauna, steam room and hydro pool a brilliant. We enjoyed relaxing and reading in the conservatory. The bedroom was modern, clean and the bed was comfortable.Meals were good, but breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food was left standing, so tended to be a bit dry and cool. Not the best quality, but adequate. This is definitely something that could be improved on. Staff were great. Extremely helpful. "
