"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "Slightly unusual place to stay in that it feels more like a bar that is never open than a hotel. A bit like you have walked into someone's private party. The bedroom was fine but the place has a hard to explain atmosphere. The hotel front door is often locked and you have to unlock it with some weird combination lock. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very nice but it does take some time (25 minutes), so you need to allow for that, and doesn't start until 7:30. Parking opposite on the street and...
