"We recently spent four nights at the Lamb inn and the experience was wonderful. The accommodation, food and service was excellent as was the welcome and atmosphere.
This is a wonderful location for a quiet relaxing break that is set in wonderful countryside a d which is excellent for walking and exploring."
"Though the guesthouse is unprepossessing from the outside, inside it’s a different story. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and with welcoming tea, coffee and biscuits. There are no staff so access is coded, but easy and secure and there are clear instructions (admittedly only in English) everywhere.
Breakfast, again self-service, was first-rate with plenty of choice, including fresh fruit.
All in all great accommodation at a very reasonable price !"

"Stayed at the hotel four times over the last few weeks due to some business trips in the area. The staff have been excellent and very friendly and welcoming, the rooms have been absolutely what I needed; big clean; comfy bed; and have an area to relax and know to work so really happy with the whole experience. The pool and steam room were in good condition and nice little bonus since I had to travel down on a Sunday for work! Restaurant was also lovely and the breakfast was brilliant with plenty of options "
"The welcoming staff were amazing and the place is incredible. The dining area was good but could be better. The menu is limited and the service is not very friendly including the greeting at the entry point. Breakfast was self service and the selection was reasonable, however the replenishment was slow and infrequent. There were quite a few guests walking around looking for cutlery and also waiting for fresh food to come out. Not the best experience for dining but the stay was relaxing and amazing, well worth the money. "

"We stayed at The Randolph for three nights in September 2005. We had breakfast there three times and dinner once. The dinner was excellent and the service was superb and a tribute to the superb staff my wife and I cannot praise the food and service enough. The breakfasts were equally superb with a wide selection of breakfast food at the buffet. The room was excellent in every way and the position of the hotel for visiting the city centre and Colleges was spot on.
