"Very friendly staff. Check in was handled efficiently even though the person handling it was a trainee. The room was comfortable and well provisioned. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. This hotel is well located, not just for the airport but also for South Manchester due to the transport links nearby."

"Malmaison is located within a stone's throw from Piccadilly Station. It's modern, sleek, comfortable and well designed. I found the staff helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was also thoughtful with a hot a la carte option and an adequate buffet. I would've given it 5* save a hiccup in the bar. If you're expecting table service there, that's non-existent. You have to order drinks at the bar which I did after about 15 minutes seated at a table. The bar staff did walk the room but never once stopped to ask. I did get an apology and service was prompt. I'd stay again."

"I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful . Liked the very central location . No coffee in the room without having to go a good way along the corridor which ,although there would barely be room for a tea tray in the room. The room was compact and it was difficult to operate /access the lighting at the opposite site of the bed . However, I suspect not much can be done about this due to the compact design . However , the color scheme and ambience of the hotel is good ."
