Book a Hathersage Cottage

"We had a wonderful stay. The hut was tastefully decorated and had all the home comforts. The only advice is, as with all wood fired hot tubs is that it takes roughly 3-4 hours to heat up. But it’s worth it! "

"Had fabulous stay at Bertie’s retreat …hot tub was amazing too . Only thing I missed was an oven ! "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Smithy Cottage. I appreciated the gift basket upon arrival. The location was ideal for the Peak District. I would highly recommend. "

" Very clean and nice apartment. Very nice host that allowed us to check out late"

"We booked for two nights at this cottage but unfortunately, our experience was so bad that we left after the first night and went home. After we eventually found the property (signage and directions were not great) we found it unlocked with no key. There was one electric heater in the living room but otherwise the central heating did not work and it was a chilly evening. The thermostat did not rise above 16 degrees. "Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated."

"An ideal venue for me so that I could visit friends but have a 'pied a tere'. I'll definitely book again"

"This flat has everything you need for a few days in the Peak District. It’s just steps away from pubs and restaurants as well as several main walking tracks. The kitchen is well furnished, and the shower is roomy with plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are separate rather than the all-in-one we’ve sometimes found. We had a wonderful stay, and we would stay here again."
