Old Hall Hotel
3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (806)
"The name says it all this is a lovely old hotel in a great location. I had an overnight stay after seeing a show at the Opera House opposite the hotel. I booked a double room and was given room 32 on the 2nd floor. A spacious room with a lovely bathroom which had a great sized walk in shower. The bed was comfy and I had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was adequate but a little disappointing there was a small selection of cereals and juices, the cooked breakfast was buffet style, not my...

"From the outside the pub doesn’t look great but inside it’s lovely. Rooms were clean and well furnished, and breakfast was tasty, although we found the menu a little confusing, as continental is included but you cannot for other items. Staff were really friendly and the pub had a great atmosphere. I’d stay here again if I was in the area."

Losehill House Hotel & Spa
4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. "

"Overall our two nights were good room and property were very clean and there's a kitchen for food. A couple of points would be to have a blind on the bathroom door window mainly because the morning light comes in and wound add more privacy. Also we found the mattresses uncomfortable and springy so didn't get a great sleep but its a lovely property and would stay again if beds were comfier "
