The staff were attentive and helpful. The restaurant manager was particularly engaging and was largely on her own on Sunday night but managed the restaurant with aplomb. The housekeeping staff were careful to report back quickly that I hadn’t left rings in the bedroom as suspected. I have since found them in the glove compartment of the car.

Friendly and efficient staff. Ground floor magnificent!quiet, clean and spacious room. Lots of choice at breakfast.
The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. The staff member working the bar until late on Saturday 10th Jan was brilliant! Fun friendly and polite!
I love this hotel. 3rd time staying there and i hope it won't be the last. It exudes a grandeur and charm of a time gone by. Feels full of history. The staircase is magnificent. Excellent value for money.
A reasonable price. The small room is fine and is a lot cheaper. A very good choice at breakfast.

The room was very spacious , Tea and coffee facilties were spot on. The room was lovely and warm however a bit to warm during the night as the radiator was on full and couldnt see anywhere to turn it off. The bed was a bit lumpy and the pillows were to high for me but great for my husband .
Not a bad place to be fair. Radiators need bleeding. 2 in room, one didn't work. Freezing outside but room was warm enough. Very organised and staff were good. Bar prices not out of the way. Would stay there again.
