"The floors of our room were filthy, and all the cushions of the couches and chairs were stained. We asked for extra sheets and put those over the couch before sitting or it. Floors were never mopped and there were dust bunnies in all the corners. Kitchen was ok, but non stick pans were heavily scratched so we couldn’t use them. Can’t beat the beach view and the overall atmosphere of Captiva island. The accommodations by south seas were not up to par with what some other HOAs in south seas island can offer. I’d rather have a time share in another HOA in south seas and give up the amenities than stay in the south seas units again. "

"It is a great place for a get away vacation. The locations is close to outside restaurants. The pool water was warm in late March. The fitness center has dumbbells plus other items. You can catch whiting in the ocean. The best time to fish is 1 1/2 hours before sunset. There is a fish cleaning station that you can use by their marina on the bay side. The rooms come with a refrigerator that does not have a freezer. However, you can drop off items that need to be frozen at the office, and they will be placed in a freezer. The rooms do not come with a microwave oven; however, they will provide you with one for $15 per day. The tennis and pickleball courts are on top of a parking garage. There are low nets around the perimeter of the courts. There is no elevator. There are three floors of rooms. The beds are firm, and the pillows are great. I slept very well. The rooms are very quiet. The air conditioner/heater is controlled by a remote control. There are nice items in the Pelican Roost Boutique, and you can get a !0% military discount there."

"Incredible trip! The pictures are what you get (but in person is better). I doubt there’s many better places to stay on North captiva. Private beach, can see sunrise and sunset from the house (amazing sunset view). We would recommend to anyone. It was perfect for our family of 7 (with one infant). We will look forward to staying at WOW again. "

"We loved staying at the paraiso property. The outdoor space was amazing. After walking the entire beach, this property it was definitely among the best for outdoor entertainment. It has it all covered between the pier, beach, pool and patio. The indoor space was also very nice and unique. The property is separated into a main floor (upper) with the kitchen, family room, dining room, two bedrooms and 2 full bath rooms. The beach level has two separate 1 bedroom/1 full bath, rooms. Each separated by its own entry, away from the main, upper level of the house. This works well for privacy but also may not be ideal for families with smaller children. The golf cart was also a nice added feature to the property. Property management was easy to work with and timely with responses to our questions. We look forward to possibly staying there again in August!"

"This home was perfect for our 10 family member annual spring trip. The inside was beautiful and comfortable. Our 8 year old grand loved the coloring supplies lol. The beds were all comfy. The kitchen well stocked and user friendly. Loved the screened porch and upstairs deck!! We enjoyed morning coffee on both! The pool was used every day and well maintained. Enjoyed using the golf carts to go to the beaches! Can't say enough about the service that brings the groceries and alcohol! Had an issue with a TV and the host acted to rectify. Overall an awesome week. Was our first trip to North Captiva but not our last!! This trip requires planning but so worth it!! Really enjoyed the ferry rides! Our big family had plenty of room to play games and just be on Island time!! "
