The lobby, breakfast area and pool were very nice. Our room was decent but there were two dead cockroaches on the floor that I noticed in the morning. We live in FL and are used to seeing cockroaches (palm meadow bugs) so wasn’t really too concerned).

The room was kept very clean. Morning breakfast was good considering it was free. My biggest complaint is the fitness room, where the treadmills and elliptical machines are always broken, amd the front desk will never call to get them repaired. Those machines have never worked in the 3 years I have been coming here because the Shell Point Guest House has been closed.

We need a room near Sanibel for one night. Staff was friendly - room was immaculate - bed was very comfortable - grounds were well manicured - free breakfast was outstanding. This is a well-run hotel!

The room was very clean and staff was really nice. I like the fact that they have a quiet policy from 10pm-8am.
