"Dreamcatcher was perfect house for our group of 12. Plenty of room and amenities that satisfied all our needs. Communication with host was unbelievable, any questions we had were answered immediately. At one point we asked if it was possible to get a few more beach chairs, two hours later 8 new chairs and two umbrellas were delivered to the house. Great place and great host. We will definitely book again.."

"Great house for extended family vacation! The beds are comfortable. Screened in porch was great to avoid bugs. Good water pressure in shower and the osmosis drinking water was good. Pool nice. Golf carts are a must here! The 2 golf carts accommodated the 10 of us great! Having beach chairs/unbrellas/toys/towels was great. Grocery delivery prior is a must and was very smooth- fees are pricy but expected. Communication prior for arrival instructions for ferry pick up/drop off was great. North Captiva is beautiful for a low key/relaxing beach vacation. Research island before booking. Everything is closed by 9pm. Mainstay and Mangos were only restaurants operating (except Over the Water that was booked solid the week we were there) and they did not offer grab and go food or take and bake pizza at Mangos during our stay and Mangos used a limited menu due to staffing so dining options are limited on island (so plan accordingly!).Property was great. Recommend!"

"Beautiful property with excellent amenities—we really enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be to provide daily housekeeping instead of every other day. Also, while construction is ongoing, it would be appreciated if guests could be assigned rooms farther away from the construction area whenever possible. Unfortunately, our room was very close to it, which made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, and we would definitely consider staying again."

"Beautiful island! Home was well equipped and has most everything you may think you’ll need. This is a very remote island with limited store access directly. Plan ahead and accordingly for groceries and supplies. They do have grocery services, very expensive though. I found getting a ferry to the store myself was more economical. I truly loved being away from the chaos of everyday life. If you’re looking for true relaxation, peace and a slow down from your normal life, this is where you need to be."
Newly Renovated Island Pool Home

"Perfect cottage for perfect vacation in perfect location! We’ve stayed on the island before and loved it. But this place and the owner far exceeded our expectations. Her standards were far greater than my own! We were coached on what to bring & not bring before we arrived. Actually, the only thing you really need is a few changes of clothes and your food items. Pat has thought of everything else - and I mean EVERYTHING! We were met at the dock, given guided tour on way to house, and walked through and shown everything. The house is close to beach. We had a nice parking area and entrance to beach. Loved the beach chairs & umbrella! The beach was nice and it was choppy for surf fishing - but who cares. We ordered fresh fish & shrimp from Boats & Fun. The outdoor griddle was a huge bonus. The pool was wonderful and very secluded & private. The house stayed plenty cool during days and the fans were scattered throughout. We loved the outdoor shower too! As stated above - she had everything we could have wanted and needed. Next time I may just pack a backpack! Thanks Pat for sharing the Cottage with us and giving us time to answer questions and help us out. We will see you in 2027!"

"House was great for 9 adults and 1 baby. Great pool and location. Grill didn’t work. Washing machine didn’t work consistently which is hard when you are required to wash towels before you checkout. Overall a good stay."
