"My husband and I were able to check in right on time. We were given a helpful overview of the property, a map, and list of the numerous amenities (complimentary kayaks, bikes, beach towels, pools and hot tubs, as well as the many restaurants, shops, rentals, and beach services) and opening and closing times said amenities. Prices for amenities and rentals were reasonable in my opinion. The restaurants range in price from reasonable to upscale dining. Our room was exactly as pictured. The entire property including the private beach - which was just across the road - were exceptionally clean. My only complaint was our bed was very firm for our tastes. The Gulf side beach was gorgeous. We saw many shore birds and dolphins. The bay side features a large marina and manatees in the cove. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in mid September and it appeared that most of the rooms were filled, but it was still very relaxing, quiet, and uncrowded. The location is excellent. It's easy to find off the main road through the islands and it's only a short drive to the attractions and beaches in both Sanibel and Captiva. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again."

"The trip got off to a little bit of a rocky start however the owner/managing group was very quick to correct any issues. The property, house and pool were wonderful. The house was set up perfect for our group of 12! Plenty of room for all! Very short walk to the beach! We will visit this property again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casablanca on Captiva! The layout was perfect for our family of five, and the house can comfortably sleep up to 10. Booking and check-in were seamless, and the host was fantastic to communicate with. They even had a few heavier boxes we needed delivered waiting for us inside when we arrived which was a thoughtful touch!The house is beautiful, clean with great wood floors, Captiva inspired décor, high ceilings and plenty of space. The location on peaceful Laika Lane is fantastic, with easy access to the mostly private beach. It honestly felt like we had our own little piece of Captiva. The pool underneath the house was the highlight for us. We could enjoy it for hours, even when the weather wasn’t great, while still having areas to relax in the sun. The house was also very well stocked with towels and amenities.Our only minor issue was with a few of the TV and ceiling fan remotes, which we made the host aware of.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casablanca! **One tip: rent a golf cart — it’s the best way to get around Captiva**"

"We were there with 9 adults and 2 toddlers. Everything was ready for us and the beach experience was beyond as the water was perfect and the beach was quiet and an easy walk from the house. We are Floridians and it's our favorite beach in the state. Beach chairs come with the house and the wagon was superb for the kids and hauling. We brought tons of food but there are plenty of places to shop on the way in on Sanibel. We went to our favorite Grandma Dots which we have been to many times. We have been to Captiva many many times and Wightman lane is the best street hands down. We all had a great time and will definitely return."

"Room clean but small actually hotel room. Bathroom is roomy shower is nice but has no dresser for storage. two drawers under the bed. small closet. perfect combination for two. Screen porch ground level direct access to the beach. No view of Beach the dunes have been replaced. Which took away the view. But worked well for us for the three days we stayed 140 yards to sand and water perfect."

"We had a fantastic stay at this house! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and several great restaurants, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.The pool was one of the highlights of our stay. It was very clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, a very nice property and a nice island to stay on. There were a few very minor things like a hinge loose and curtain holders pulled loose but nothing at all to take away from the enjoyment of the stay. When pointed out, the host responded no worries and they would take care of it. The pool was awesome and our kids enjoyed it greatly!!!!"
