"Excellent! The property management team were super nice and attentive. Answered all questions immediately. The owner Lacey as well. The house is spacious, clean and located close to where you are dropped off as well as not far away from the club house. We did request to have the AC lowered because it was many of us at the house and the days were very hot. We are very appreciative for Lacey doing that for us which made our stay very comfortable. I do recommend taking bug spray for those who have sweet blood and also a beach umbrella as the house had many chairs and towels but no umbrellas. "

"We had a great time in the home. The kitchen offered everything we needed to cook for the week, there was plenty of space to relax, the pool was stocked with floaties and toys for kids, and we had everything we needed for a day at the pool. The island had great ice cream and we really enjoyed the home. "

"Our stay started off very easy due to the communication from the property management group. We ordered our groceries ahead which was such a great idea as they were waiting for us for an easy lunch after a day of travel. We did not have too many issues, but everything was met with prompt service and communication. The house and location was perfect for our families. Location at the beach was a prime spot for viewing sunsets and the kids lived the pool every day. Captiva has our hearts and it was such a wonderful vacation. "

"You MUST Stay Here!This was our first trip to North Captiva Island, and it absolutely won’t be our last. Wine’d Down was the perfect home base for our family of four (kids ages 15 and 18). The island itself is a dream, and every detail of this stay was seamless. We used Island Girl Ferry Service—easy, friendly, and beyond accommodating, even when we missed our scheduled ferry due to a flight delay. We also used Shally’s to stock our kitchen beforehand and they went above and beyond—meeting us at the dock, loading our luggage, and leading us to the house with our golf cart ready to go. We didn’t lift a bag until unpacking!We did have an issue with the golf cart the first day, but Shally’s mechanic was quick, kind, and helpful, even bringing us a replacement until repairs were made. Rich, the owner of Wine’d Down, personally checked in with us—something we’ve never experienced at a vacation rental.The house is ideally located: steps to the beach, a quick ride to other access points, and close to Mango’s and Barnacles for ice cream, lunch, and pool time. We explored the island, soaked up the sunsets, and took nightly golf cart drives.We’ve been to a lot of beach vacation homes, but this one tops the list. Trust me—don’t walk, RUN to book Wine’d Down!"

"The property is great. The view stunning. I would stay again. The lani screen needs repair and the fan doesn’t work which is a bug issue. If I stayed again I would ask that this be addressed. But it didn’t effect the overall stay!"
