"My room was amazing value for money. It was spacious, clean, full of everything that I needed and the staff made it all so easy. The car park was so convenient and the walk to both the sea front and the town was very quick and easy. "

"The hotel is wonderfully presented, it is clean both inside and out, the rooms, foyer, reception area, bar and restaurant are all impeccable. It is right on the seafront so you get a brilliant view from most areas, the hotel are able to provide a permit for reduced cost parking opposite the hotel which is great, I'm glad we didn't do it on the app in advance as it would have cost us more - it would be good for this information to be more easily available. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful, the bar was reasonably priced for drinks, my only disappointment was one male member of staff on arrival who was a little rude when I queried about rooms not being close to each other when I both rooms were on the same booking, he responded with "well you booked with a different website so how are we meant to know?" However the lady who we were actually dealing with on check in was wonderful and all other staff were very friendly and helpful."

"It is a nice old seafront hotel that we have visited many times before and find to be a comfortable place to stay. Very close convenient for seafront strolls and local shopping. It has undergone many improvements and updates in recent years while retaining the charm of and old seaside hotel. Staff service and catering was excellent on this visit"

"The room became very cold overnight as the heating appeared to be switched off, and there was no option in the room to turn it back on. As a result, I had to contact reception to request an extra blanket. It seems the heating is controlled centrally or on a set schedule, which made the room quite uncomfortable during the night. "

"We had the best time away for our girls trip. We didnt eat in the hotel but we did have breakfast which was so lovely. Everything we wanted on offer. Our room was a sea view room and it was brilliant, so glad we chose to upgrade. Only things We would comment on as i feel the bathrooms could slightly be more modern and the rooms could benefit from air con but there was fans provided. Overall it was an amazing night away and we would defo return. Thank you "

"Lovely hotel, delicious breakfast."

"The room smelt of damp. The wall in the bathroom, was visibility damp. Breakfast was very poor quality. The lady serving started arguing, when I asked about the wrong flavour of tea being served, and she still got the breakfast order wrong, dispite, asking several times and writing it down. The place was clean, but very tired. I dont expect to be told breakfast was at eight o'clock, however on stating that this was too early, a later time was agreed . I would not return "
