Top Seaford Beach Hotel Reviews
Bespoke studio with patio, driveway parking, sea, South Downs on the doorstep,
10/10 Excellent
"We visited family in Seaford & this accommodation was just what we needed for our 4 night visit. The hosts were very helpful and the room was as described. Helpful to have milk & water provided each day."
"It’s a great boutique hotel in a lovely setting which has been very recently tastefully renovated. All the interiors are stylish, great SPA, good restaurant and service, wonderful outside spaces incl. pool. Breakfast is a bit limited but good, coffee isn’t great
Lots to do in the area as well. Rathfinny winery just nearby was a happy find with a great restaurant, hiking routes to Seven Sisters, Alfriston village is a gem
The only challenges we had were in regards to the check out rules - lack of a clear late check out policy, different receptionists saying different things, overall felt greedy and we end led up being overcharged in the end compared to what had been agreed (pending refund). 11AM is too early for 4PM check in, so the hotel needs to be prepared for exception requests"
"The bed was a king size comfortable bed with nice linen. Clean fluffy towels and plenty of room in the bathroom. The shower was good and did not have any mould. We stayed in one of the pubs old out buildings that has been converted into accommodation. No frills, clean and private. The only thing to consider is that the headboard backs onto the road. That being said only 3 vehicles passed during our stay. The owner was nice and chatty. The blinds in the bedroom did let the morning sun in they did not black out the room. I like a little sun in the morning so it did not bother me. Great back gardening you are thinking of taking your dog. Great view of the downs and peaceful. Great stay and amazing situation for walking. Short drive to a local brewery (Long Man), Zoo and children's adventure park (Drusilla's)."
"I stayed in this property with my wife, son, daughter-in-law and 5 month old grandchild. The lock box was a little tricky to open as the after entering the code the little lever was difficult to get a grip on and push down as well as pulling out the lock box door, but eventually I managed to get it open. The property was very clean and well prepared for our arrival with tea/coffee etc.A couple of pointers for future stays.Dishwasher tablets were left for us with washing up liquid and hand soap…but there is no dishwasher. More dishwasher tablets were left in the clothes washing detergent box, but no washing machine detergent.Ground floor and upstairs shower room toilet lock came apart during use locking the occupant in for a short time before we managed to reattach the lock and rescue them.Very helpfully there is an Iron but no ironing boardSuggestionsHooks on back of door in shower room to hang items on during showering would be useful.Somewhere in the shower to put items, like shower gel and glasses when showering would be really useful. The floor is quite slippery when showering stick on shower dots or a mat would be good.A great property for a short stay."
Seaphare Beach House by inspirestays-com - a cottage that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"We loved our stay at Seaphare Beach House. The location and views are perfect. We spent hours looking out at the sea, the Seven Sisters, the flowers, and seagulls. We would definitely rent this beach house again. Additional disclosure about a few things might help plan our stay at this Beach House. Parking was an issue. If you rent this house during the busy summer months you may not be able to park anywhere close to the house. This is difficult if you arrive on the weekend with luggage. We were there on a lovely warm weekend. All of the parking was full a beachgoers for miles. We did not go anywhere on the Saturday or Sunday because we knew we would not find a parking space on our return. We actually watched the parking fiasco from the house. A couple of minor things included the lack of wardrobes in the bedrooms and the wetroom shower in the master bedroom - everything got soaked - so we ended up only using the shower in the other bathroom. We would have enjoyed more comfortable garden furniture. Only one deck chair. The rest were small, wooden, and uncomfortable. We loved walking to the "Holly Cow" ice cream hut - the best ice cream we have ever had. And in the morning, we walked to the beachfront cafe near the Martello Tower for delicious breakfast buns...We really enjoyed our stay."
"This is a fantastic place to stay. The room was very comfortable, and is well located. The nearby pub is great, and there was the added bonus of a free laundry."
