"Lovely hotel with beautiful features. Our Deluxe room had the most incredibly comfortable bed and feather pillows so sleep was excellent. We ate in the bar which was good, plentiful and really tasty - although it took a longer time to come - but that just meant it was cooked for us to order. "

The spa was the highlight—complete with a rooftop pool, relaxation pool, saunas, steam rooms, and thermal baths filled daily with Buxton’s natural spring water. The experience was deeply restorative and left us feeling refreshed. We appreciated the central location, which made it easy to explore Buxton and the nearby Peak District. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The overall experience was smooth and satisfying. "A great place for an overnight journey break, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Room was a little dated but clean and in keeping with the style you’d expect of the period. The EV chargers were easy to use and worked without issue. Just wish we could have spent some more time there to explore."
