"The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "

"Staff helpful, old building and that’s why we chose to stay, breakfast was 1st class, large room, massive bed with en-suite. Very warm overnight had to open the window for some fresh air."

"We stayed for a night and had a really lovely time there. We enjoyed their spa facilities and the delicious breakfast! The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Our 17 year old boys had tons of fun in their games room playing table tennis, snooker and giant kerplunk and also played tennis outside. We will definitely be back to visit! "
