Only experienced the town for one evening, so much was closed, but looking liked there were plenty of dining options, things to see, and places like the theatre and cinema for things to do.

We didn't go into town as it was a one night stay and we were tired. Several options nearby pub chains if you don't want to eat in the hotel which were walkable. We found a very good fish and chip shop called Chester's eat in cafe restaurant

Seeing the twisted spire was nice. Glad the hotel was outside the Town Centre.
"The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar.
The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable.
Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome.
It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures."
"The staff were lovely, helpful, visible and polite. The food was great for the 50% off which it was that day. The restaurant, reception and room no complaints at all. The only thing I could say to improve would be the stairwell to the rooms wasn’t hoovered and didn’t look like it had been for a while. The carpet was also ripped in a couple of places. "
