"The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. "

"Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. Given it's a twenty minute walk into Cromford a few tea bags and milk would have been welcome when we got there. Wine nice touch, tea facilities essential. Yes we could have taken our own.. Enclosed shared courtyard good for the dog. Located in a World Heritage site it's ideal for exploring the Derwent Valley including...

"Fantastic location and lovely cosy place to stay. The steps to the outside garden were very steep so we didn't use that much.The only minor issue were getting some provisions e.g milk, bread etc. We came by train so we were limited by the amount we could bring with us and there is only a small shop selling essential items open untill 6pm in the village. Having said that, there were plenty of places to eat out."
