"I stayed at this hotel for four nights and unfortunately had a consistently uncomfortable experience. On the first night, I noticed a strong urine faeces-like odor in the room. The staff responded promptly and cleaned it, which I appreciated. However, the smell returned every night afterward, suggesting a possible underlying sewage or plumbing issue. The odor also spread into the bedroom area, making it difficult to rest comfortably. I believe it is a sewage issues because the manhole in the street outside the hotel also smelled like that. Additionally, there is a police vehicle stationed outside the hotel at night, and its flashing lights shine directly into the room. This made it even harder to sleep. Another inconvenience is that there is no elevator, so guests have to carry their luggage up multiple flights of stairs, which can be quite challenging. The bathroom setup was also not very functional. The showerhead is positioned extremely close to the wall, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The sink is also very low and awkwardly placed, which made simple tasks like brushing your teeth inconvenient. While I appreciated the staff’s initial effort to address the issue, the ongoing odor, poor sleep conditions, and impractical room layout significantly affected my stay. Blanca was lovely! "I used a fan in the room. It worked well. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. Lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. Its easy to get around walking. I walked to Chapultepec in 30 minutes. Ubers can easily pick up/drop off on this one way street location. I only wish rooms had a refrigerator. "
