This was a great stay. Very large suite. Pristine and the bed was so comfortable. It was so helpful to have the kitchen for heating up leftovers. Staff was friendly and I was so happy that they provided excellent customer service when I had questions.

Breakfast very good. Staff excellent. Building is old but okay. Only complaint: they could maintain the outside cleanliness better, but hey, this is real Cancun, not the hotel zone. In comparison to the general neighborhood it’s much better.

The problem was the bathroom, would not flush properly and we had to keep extra water collecting it from the shower. The bathroom design needs some improvement, either you place some electric connections inside the bathroom or a mirror outside so you can fix your hair and look at it. Bigger counters are needed inside the bathroom sink area and shower area.

This place could really be something! The location is amazing, the deck, small pool and views from both are pretty good. However, the place is not that clean. We had some ants in our room, in the kitchen area and near the bed too which was a bit of a concern. It was not infested by any means but they could use a bug spray so we don’t have to worry about our food on the counter top or bugs in the bed. There was dust on everything and I mean clumps, I’m not that particular but omg my allergies. No one cleaned while we were there for 5 days but they did SAY they were going to clean one day. They came in, remade the bed and when we came back about 4 hours later, our room door was open with a key hanging in the lock and we didn’t even have fresh towels. We returned the key, asked them to leave our room locked when no one’s in it and had to ask for towels still. They did apologize but the bare minimum I expect from an accommodation is to know my stuff is at least secure in my room when I leave to explore. The other rooms were mostly empty (low season) and consistently left open with the keys hanging in the door. They must think it’s pretty safe there but still, I’d like my things locked in my room when I’m away and they’re not cleaning in there. The decks were awesome but the furnishings were neglected and there were broken ashtrays and stuff laying all over the roof top. This place needs some maintenance/cleaning and it could be a really really great place to stay.
