Clean rooms lovely staff

Overall enjoyed my stay. The resort and the room were excellent. Public areas were kept very clean although the club lounge was quite small. The food was overall good in terms of resort food. Sake experience was quite lacking and would not recommend. Overall the service staff were just slow and all seemingly hated being asked for their service, this included at the restaurants, room service and at the bars. Staff at the pools were also slow, and did not like when requesting a service (such as towels or drinks). We had them call us multiple times in the morning about a leak from our jacuzzi and told us they would send maintenance while we were out. They never followed up on the leak and we still saw water leaking into the terrace. They also had staff come into the room to clean while we were out for dinner. When we got back our safety deposit box was locked and we had to call and wait for security for over an hour until they came to unlock it. I understand it's procedure for them if the cleaning staff comes in and sees the box unlocked they will get security. However, leaving a note or a message would have been appreciate as we did not know what happened until security came over an hour later.

Amazing resort with amazing food and amazing people!

If you like to party- I would say this is more of the type of resort you're looking for. We've been to about 10 different all inclusive resorts in Cancun, and unfortunately I'd say this one was in the bottom few for a few different reasons. 1.) Too loud. Everywhere you go it's loud. The crowd is younger so our neighbors were up all night with loud bass and yelling. I got less sleep than I normally do at home with children. We moved rooms after the third sleepless night and things improved a bit, but they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Our room was also extremely dated, paint chipping off everywhere, handles falling off the night stands, and just overall old. 2.) The food was just okay. With that being said, we were turned away from three different restaurants two nights in a row, so out and not option is the buffet. They do not accept reservations, so if you arrive at any of the four restaurants after 7pm, you will likely be told the restaurant is full for the night. We ended up going off the resort to eat twice because of this. I didn't want to eat the buffet every single night. The biggest bummer was also NO ROOM SERVICE. Uhg, we love that option for one night of our stay usually when we are exhausted. 3.) Overall service was mediocre. I just felt like our presence there was unwelcomed by many of the staff. We tipped generously and found a couple of the staff to be amazing, but that was definitely rare. We loved the beach & all the new friends we made.

All the staff were very helpful and very friendly. It was our second time here, and we would gladly come back again to this hotel!
