small place but nice property, check in on time and nice kitchen for hotel guest .. u can cook and eat wat u like. just opposite road , super market..

No blanket & blocked sinks
Having to find the key from blocks away from the apartment was painful. There we no duvet inner in one of our beds and no extra blankets anywhere. The 24 hour help couldn’t help us get one so we froze all night. The shower plug was full of gunk which blocked the drain. The bathroom sink plug was stuck and the dining chairs are falling apart. They offered a refund over the phone but haven’t seen any email confirmation about that still.

We arrived on a Sunday and had to wait around for the key. Beds were terrible. Bathroom had an nasty smell and over cleaning was under par, no soap in the bathroom.

an overpriced backpackers
we arrived at the hotel - nobody there to check us in and no instructions. Rang the hotel. Someone was going to arrive in "15 minutes" with a key. We waited 45 minutes. Rang the hotel to tell them we were leaving and cancelling the booking. Now fighting to get a refund. They have refused a refund telling outright lies to Wotif such as they were in constant contact with us (not true). Have offered a measley refund amounting to less than a third of what we paid. Unscrupulous people. Awful looking accommodation. Looks like nothing more than an overpriced backpackers hostel. Wotif could have done more to obtain a refund for us as the hotel and the person who was bringing us the key have done nothing more than tell lies to avoid having to pay a full refund.

Lack of Matinence
A run down Apartment complex on Queen st, Suited for Students and young people under 30. If this apartment was serviced and maintained to a normal level then this would have been a pleasant stay, but to no avail. After our 3 day stay and many emails to the property manager (my Hotel) all I got was a towel and some shampoos. We had 4 people stay in this 2 Bedroom apartment and this was not serviced in these three days, no hand towel to dry hands only one dishwash sachet to clean dishes and no tea towel to dry cups or hands in kitchen area. Now onto broken/not working items; Fan, chair, small plant stand lost a leg when I touched it, no lightbulbs in bedside lamp, cracked basin in bathroom no shelf to hold shampoos or body wash containers in shower. No Air Conditioning so fans were crucial in 28c temps and these were not fixed due to matinence guy being sick while we were there. When we left/checked out the elevators/lifts did not work so had to carry our luggage down 6 flights of stairs to catch the bus to airport. Good things, shower had good pressure, bed was comfortable but a bit short in length.

Arrived at apartment at 3.30 (check in was 2.30 )to find it had not been cleaned from previous people, so rubbish in bags and sheets dishevelled on beds, towels over floor. Wifi was not working so had to get a technician out. No info supplied on how to sign into wifi so had to call the head office. Very disappointed!!

Great Location
Everything in walking distance, public transport, food. Do not recommend having a rental as there is no parking available and the cost of public parking is ridiculous.

Good location but otherwise disappointing
When we arrived there were not enough towels and only one roll of toilet paper. Also we had one set of keys for 4 people. After contacting the office they did arrange to give us enough towels. However there were dirty towels in the apartment from the last guests and the oven trays and toaster were not clean. By the second day the shower was not draining properly and spilling over the tray. Also as we were checking out on a public holiday we were unable to leave our bags at the office, it would have been nice to know this ahead of time instead of being told on the notification email to confirm our check in that we could leave them there. We then had bags to deal with on the day of check out and our flights were not until evening. The location and security were good but they were the only good features we found. Would not recommend staying here to others.

Toilet seat broken, rubbish still in room baskets, tiles in kitchen chipped, oven elements rusted, fridge compartments broken and a funny smell in room. Very poor conditions in room and house cleaners not available everyday?!

The instructions we received on how to get the key and get in were excellent and well set out. It was great that the bedrooms were separate. We were disappointed with some of the features of the apartment - All the bedside lamps (4) were not working (suspect blown bulbs) There were a few ceiling bulbs not working Broken toilet seat cover that was just sitting on the floor Shower water couldn't drain as the drainage hole/cap was full of hair.
