We stayed for three days and went to a fantastic performance of Khovanshchina at the Vienna State Opera, and an excellent display at the Spanish Riding School (both pre booked on the internet). The Klimt paintings at the Belvedere are wonderful, and as a bonus there was a Monet exhibition as well. Good coffee houses for lunches and atmospheric Christmas markets, best visited in the evening; the largest one at the Rathaus was very good.
Visited for 2 nights with a couple of colleagues for a business trip - had been recommended to use this hotel by our clients. Very welcoming staff despite late arrival and immediately had a positive feeling about the place. All facilities were good - from the underground car park (not full), speedy lifts, immaculate rooms with good showers, choice of breakfast options (we chose continental as it was cheaper - but was still more than adequate) and v. pleasant bar. All in all, a great base to work from.
Great apartments on a quiet street in the historic centre. It could hardly be better located, within walking distance of most attractions. The hotel is in a characteristic old art -nouveau building. The apartment we had was spacious, like a studio flat with separate kitchenette and a nice bathroom.

Nice apartment, spacey, in a very convenient location. Just walk across a pathway, the Opera house is right in front of your face. Walking distance to lots of attractions, including famous Nesch Market, no need to buy bus or subway pass.

Excellent four days (14th to 17th December 2014) in Vienna. Beautiful city with its culture and history, the whole experience was worth every minute and not forgetting the Christmas markets, there seems to be one around every corner.
