Cloud One is a 1.5 star hotel. BUT IT HAS A LOT TO RECOMMEND IT. Excellent location within walking distance of tourist attractions and good restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The price of the standard room we stayed in was very reasonable. Vienna is an expensive city to visit. Although we did not include the buffet breakfast in our plans, it is a bargain. The hotel has a nice bar that is well used by guests.

The property was lovely and clean. Check in was quick and easy. The staff spoke English very well. The hotel is centrally located so we were able to walk to good restaurants and tourist sights, such as St. Stephens Cathedral. Also the tap water was excellent for drinking (no taste). The only drawback was not being able to make tea and coffee in our room.

In a great location for walking to lots of major museums and city attractions, and around the corner from a subway station to help get to the ones farther out. Had a single room which was very compact but had everything I needed. Would stay here again for future visits to the city.

Great location. Pretty lobby. Nice cafe space. Bed comfy. Important note- no fridge in room so anyone who needs to keep medicine cool may rethink staying here. The staff did allow me to put my freezer bricks in some kind of food freezer (they came back smelling of onions but at least they were cold!!) A bit surprising they do not have a better way to manage this (e.g. mini fridge on request).
