Good location to everything in walking distance to the city and main market area. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and overall great place to stay for the week I was there.

Really good place by Belvedere

Had a good experience with the hotel! Very good minibar deal if you don’t opt for cleaning. Ended up early and had no issues checking in, walkable to the innerstadt and right beside the Belvedere palace & gardens! Very pleased with the room spacious, clean & good views.

Not proper for work travelers.

I stayed 8 days at the hotel. For the first 3 ai was complaining the wifi was not working and I was promising to get it solved and never did. On the 4th day they finally changed me to a room where at least it had signal, however still not a wifi potent enough a work MS Teams work call. Moreover, the second room once I changed had no soap at shower and it was never filled. I do not recomend for long stays or ir you need to work from the room.

They have new staff. I missed the service it had the past 4 years. We stayed in Vienna often and we love this hotel. With the change the interaction is not as pleasant.

Very nice

Very nice hotel near the centre. Rooms are space and nicely equipped. If you stay more nights and don’t require room service you can suck the minibar. However the bathroom, especially the shower could be sorted better as separate room. Also the bed is too soft for me. For some reason the breakfast is blocked during initial booking. It’s unblocked only after we select option cancel the booking which of course is 50 eur more.

Breakfast very good and diverse. staff professional and most of them friendly, room and hotel clean but not a 10/10. Housekeeping did only half the job, forgot one bed and did not use the vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, WLAN was not stable. All in all pretty good but for the price we paid, i would not have expected these issues mentioned above

Functional, unexciting

This place is fine but very businessy and functional, nowhere near as nice as it looked in hotels.com pics and IMO not good value for money. The lobby is very ugly and the reception on staff arrival seemed quite bored, so first impressions were not good. The WiFi is the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel belonging to a major chain, almost nonexistent in our room (we used NH Hotel WiFi from next door!!!). The gym is new and q nice but sadly the beautiful looking sauna was not working. Breakfast was good though could have been more vegetarian options. Quite good location

Excellent breakfast choices. Comfortable bed but prefer to have double duvet instead of two singles. A few small issues.Better to have WHB in WC, not in bedroom. Could not use bedside table socket to plug-in continental adapter because socket too close to wall facing. Air conditioning control did not respond properly. No radio stations with TV. Tea/coffee/milk not replenished. Good hotel overall, would recommend.

Worst check-out ever

This was a very nice and well located hotel… until the day of my departure. Even if the checkout is at 11:00, I heard a faint knock on my door around 10:15, I wasn’t even sure it was for my room. I called out but there was no answer. Then someone proceeded to immediately unlock my door. I was just out of the shower and barely had my panties on, so I screamed to them to stay out of my room. Then through the door, I asked them to identify themselves and the person said « this is check-out ». I told them I would get down shortly. But seriously sending the check-out crew nearly one hour before check out, without a phone call, and having them open the doors to the rooms on naked clients, that’s not the best policy. Nothing much from the front desk when I reported the incident. Just told me « sorry, that must have been housekeeping » as if they aren’t responsible for housekeeping behavior. That’s the problem with paying your room in advance I guess, once they get your money who cares if you are satisfied or not? Sincerely I felt rushed and humiliated. Also that made me notice that the room had no phone line. So it’s impossible to reach the front desk to ask questions or also in case of emergency. I thought that was unsafe.

Uns hat besonders die Zimmeraufteilung und Einrichtung gefallen. Die Betten könnten etwas härter sein, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Es war ruhig im Hotel eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist fußläufig in 2 Min erreicht. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Parks, Geschäfte, alles in Kürze erreichbar. Wir waren von dem Frühstücksbüffet sehr beeindruckt. Ich habe selbst in der Hotelbranche gearbeitet. Alles war qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Der Obstsalat war frisch zubereitet ebenso das Rührei. (In anderen Hotels leider oft fertig aus dem Eimer oder Vollei - Rührei aus dem Tetra Pak) Besonders hervorheben möchte ich hier auch die Auswahl an verschiedenen Wurstwaren insbesondere Rinderschinken und Putenschinken was für muslimische Gäste sehr einladend ist. Es wird wirklich auf jeden Rücksicht genommen, auch laktosefreie Speisen habe ich gesehen. Der Chiapudding mit verschiedener Toppingauswahl ist eine klasse Idee. Wir haben abends einmal im Restaurant gegessen, das Essen hat war so köstlich, dass wir die Gerichte gleich noch ein 2. x bestellt haben. Der Fitness- und Saunabereich ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Eine Uhr im Ruhebereich / Vorraum der Sauna wäre wünschenswert. Es hängt zwar eine im Fitnessbereich aber muss jedes mal hinausgehen um auf die Uhr zu sehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Close to Belvedere. Gardens were outside are window. Train 71 at our doorstep. Salm Brau quite acceptable place just few yards away. Several reataurants walking distance. Other trains walking distance.
