"Really upscale and great hotel. "
We have been traveling all over Germany for two weeks and I've been staying in five-star hotels all the way across and this hotel is equal or better to everyone we stayed at. It has a great location to the ring and a nice bar for a nightcap. "Grrrreat location two blocks from Opera"
Nice 4 star hotel by USA standards. Great staff, very helpful in any way. English seemed to be their first language, not German? Hotel restaurant pretty ordinary for this type of hotel, you can do far better in the neighborhood for breakfast. Many great cafe's within 10-15 min walk. Walk away from the Opera and you will find good cafes on the side streets off the main street. The tourist area cafes around the Opera are expensive and not much for the $, but the shopping is mind boggling, everything you could ever want. Rooms in the hotel are pretty large for Europe, very ok for two people. I liked the hotel and loved Vienna! I would stay there again

"Champagne lifestyle on a Proseco budget"
When you look at the location on a map, this hotel seems a little out of the way, but in reality it's very close to the centre. It's about a five minute walk to Swedensplatz or (for the brave or those who know their routes) the trams stop almost outside. We stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard, which was very quiet. The room was clean, fairly basic furnishing, but clean, well maintained and a reasonable size. There was a good sized en-suite bathroom (shower over the bath and a shower curtain rather than a separate cubicle) and a small walk-in wardrobe.

"Great hotel near public transportation"
Lovely hotel near everything and next to public transportation, yet very quiet. Large suite with living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. The room was really more like an apartment. Bathroom was large and included a bidet amd a shower with 3 types of faucets (rainfall, sideways, and handheld). Bed was a bit hard for my taste, but otherwise the hotel was a great base for a short or long stay in Vienna, at an excellent price! View was okay, but a strip club was immediately across from my room. Lobby offered free sodas, juices, and water all day! This is an incredible accommodation for any hotel, especially one in Europe! Hotel staff was wonderful and helpful, offering great suggestions for food and operas/symphony. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

"Quiet, convenient and comfortable"
This was our second short stay at Das Tigra. It is in a quiet spot but only a very short walk to the luxury shopping area of the Graben and not far from the Hofburg. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, the place was notably clean and the breakfast fresh and well varied. Das Tigra is not particularly luxurious, but it is comfortable, the wi-fi is free, a good selection of European newspapers is available and the bedroom television offered a wide range of channels.
