My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Vienna was very disappointing. The room allocated to me did not match the images advertised and was not representative of the Junior Suite booked. On arrival, there was a strong sewage odour in the room, which was resolved on the second day. During my stay, there were several periods with no water supply to the room (I believe this was a hotel wide issue), as well as smoke alarm activations. Attempts to contact the Guest Services Team by phone were unsuccessful, and I was later advised at reception that they were “too busy” to answer calls. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast team were very attentive. Overall, the number of issues experienced fell well short of the standard you expect from the The Ritz Carlton brand.
