My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Vienna was very disappointing. The room allocated to me did not match the images advertised and was not representative of the Junior Suite booked. On arrival, there was a strong sewage odour in the room, which was resolved on the second day. During my stay, there were several periods with no water supply to the room (I believe this was a hotel wide issue), as well as smoke alarm activations. Attempts to contact the Guest Services Team by phone were unsuccessful, and I was later advised at reception that they were “too busy” to answer calls. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast team were very attentive. Overall, the number of issues experienced fell well short of the standard you expect from the The Ritz Carlton brand.

The staff is very attentive and they do care very much about your stay and your experience at the hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Though we had some issues early with a humming from our AC unit, it was attended to immediately. The stem sauna timing could be extended as the current time made it difficult to attend facilities in the morning as one would be out by 10.00 am . Although they did their best to cater to vegetarian more attention to vegetarian option would be good as it felt limited to me. Overall pleasant stay with friendly staff 😊
